I know there are runners out there as I see you all the time, I am looking for a running buddy preferably female as males tend to run faster. I live in Southport but am in Wilmington every other week (may vary a little) but looking for someone to run with as it gets quite boring after running for a couple months with just an ipod so figure some company might help..I can run anywhere from 3-10 miles or if you can only run a mile I would gladly run a mile then continue on..I run atleast 4 times a week with one long distance day (between 8-10miles). I can run anytime except early morning anything after 9:30am and I am good. So please respond as I would love to have a friend to run with..

I am looking to form a new AAU Basketball team for this year. I will be coaching but I am looking for 10 to 15 interested athletes as well as some assistants to help me coach. I am an assistant coach at Cape Fear community college and coach track at Topsail High school. I will be teaching the game of basketball so a lot of skills work as well as intense plays. I am all about looking professional and being Classy with a Killer instinct. I am a faculty member at CFCC and I am beginning an educational tour group for all community members, faculty, staff, students, their families, etc. in Wilmington, NC. If this is a success, I plan to have an educational tour annually, during the month of May. This year's trip is scheduled for May 8 - 15th.

This decision came about this past week and many developments already have been made. Our first trip is scheduled on May 8, 2010 to Mexico's Yucatan. This 8-day trip will focus on the Mayan civilization. The itinerary can be viewed below:

Hi, I'm new to the area, just moved here for a job. This is really random and seems kinda weird posting on craigslist but it's hard meeting new people. I'm a pretty laid back easy going guy, 25 years old. and looking for someone to hangout with and maybe show me around Wilmington. I'm a big fan of the Sunday Football and it really sucks that I don't really have anyone to watch it with. So if anyone's interested maybe we can meet up and watch a game at a bar downtown or something. The beach is really cool, but it just kinda sucks that I moved here when it's getting cold again. I've got a great job so you don't have to worry about a bum trying to mooch money from you. I love playing sports, and I workout 3 to 4 times a week (mostly free weights and very little running - I hate running unless I'm with someone fun!) I guess I like to do a lot of the typical recent grad activities, bars, drinking occasionally, I don't smoke or do drugs, used to play a lot of poker, sports, tv, being lazy...etc. Any other questions just ask. It's cool even if you're kinda scared about meeting right away; I'm cool with just exchanging emails for a while. I don't have a lot of better things to do these days after work anyways. I know this is probably a long shot, but I hope I meet someone really cool here!
